About the Role

Summa Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Function as a scrub person throughout procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • BCLS Certification.
  • Knowledge of surgical principles and skills.
  • Current National Certified Surgical Technologist certification or certification as Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent (or previous) operating room experience.
