Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Crystal Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and organized.
  • Assist the surgical team with gowning and gloving, draping, and establishing the sterile field.
  • Set up and prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Perform initial and subsequent instrument, sharps, and sponge counts.
  • Assist with transferring and positioning patients, maintaining normothermia, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Inspect and prepare skin for surgical procedures, including hair removal and prepping the area.
  • Participate in the time-out procedure and actively engage with the surgical team.
  • Pass medications, hemostatic agents, and irrigation solutions as directed by the surgeon.
  • Transfer specimens and prepare bone/tissue products as needed.
  • Operate sterilizers, adjust operating tables, and properly handle microscopes and other surgical equipment.
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved accredited surgical technology program or military training.
  • Three to five years of demonstrated experience in the field or profession preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist is preferred.
Work Schedule

40 hours/week, variable flex 8's or 10's.
