Cardiac Catheterization Lab Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. as a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Radiologic Technologist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging and Equipment Operations: Ensure the proper operation of imaging equipment within the cardiac catheterization lab, including fluoroscopy and other diagnostic equipment.
- Scrub Assistant: Assist cardiologists as a scrub assistant during various catheterization procedures, providing high-quality images and sequences for both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols, and ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage communications within the lab, including handling pages, lab specimens, and housekeeping requests, and update procedural changes and prepare supply requisitions as needed.
- Education and Licensure: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab, or recent graduates from a Radiology Technology program or Radiation Technologists with at least five (5) years of recent experience.
- Certifications and Permits: Required Licensure: CRT (California Radiologic Technology Certificate), CA Fluoroscopy Permit, and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Required Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within six months of hire.
