Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Specialist II to join our team at Protection Strategies, Inc.

About the Role:

  • Manage background investigation requests and verify e-QIP accuracy for federal employees and contractors.
  • Support the FBI Security Program through security assessment investigations.
  • Analyze interviews with stakeholders, process security clearance documentation, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with FBI Field Offices to ensure compliance and thorough investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments, analyze data, and recommend necessary investigative actions.
  • Maintain and safeguard sensitive program data, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with applicants, stakeholders, and colleagues to facilitate smooth case management.

Requirements:

  • Top Secret security clearance and polygraph exam qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personnel security investigative work or as an investigative analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Federal IT systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree (2 years' experience) or Associate's Degree (4 years' experience) in a related field.
