About the Role

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our Inpatient Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive direct patient care to leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancer patients in the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive acute management of adult patients, therapeutic drug monitoring, and chemotherapy order management.
  • Participate in rounds and optimize drug therapies to prevent and reduce medication errors.
  • Support oncology diagnosis-related group guideline development, updates, and new drug monographs.
  • Present quarterly summaries of diagnosis-related group updates at the Oncology P&T subcommittee meetings.
  • Provide patient education and follow-up to the growing oral chemotherapy specialty pharmacy program.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy School with a Pharm.D., preferably with a PGY2 Oncology Residency.
  • Current Pharmacist State board of Pharmacy issued Pharmacist License.
  • BLS by American Heart Association.
