  • Set department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, and overall profitability.
  • Coordinate the delivery of fresh and high-quality products at competitive retail prices.
  • Ensure proper temperatures and storage procedures are maintained to guarantee freshness and control shrink of product.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, discipline, and evaluate department employees.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, and compose original correspondence.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 50 pounds frequently, to move objects.
Working Conditions:

This position is frequently exposed to temperature extremes and dampness. There is possible equipment movement hazards, electrical shock, and exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents.

This is a fast-paced work environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills.
