Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to plant leaders and employees, focusing on employee and labor relations, performance management, organizational development, training, and talent acquisition.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive operational excellence and support business objectives.
  • Lead HR initiatives, including succession planning, employee development, and recruitment.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to create and implement strategic organization plans, labor relations plans, and resource/staffing plans.
  • Mentor team members in communication skills, career paths, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assist leaders in completing the annual Performance Management and Development process.
  • Guide managers in developing corrective actions and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up for underperforming employees.
  • Partner with compensation to develop annual salary planning, merit forecasting, and wage/salary surveys.
  • Lead recruitment activities, assessment, and selection processes to fill vacant positions.
  • Ensure onboarding and assimilation processes for new employees align with the organization's vision and culture.
  • Coordinate employee transfers, conduct exit interviews, and provide recommendations for corrective action policy revision.
  • Interface with government representatives on issues involving people.
  • Ensure effective administration of HR policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure HR data accuracy and update in SAP-HR system.
  • Analyze and prepare reports on HR function and key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • BS or BA degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant Human Resource Generalist experience.
  • 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or related environment.
  • Strong project management, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Requirements
  • Masters Degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field.
  • Professional Certifications: PHR/SPHR/GPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
  • Proficiency with SAP-HR and Success Factors systems.
  • Proficiency with Google Suites Applications.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations management outside of Human Resources.
Compensation and Benefits

Hill's Pet Nutrition offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $155,000 USD, based on individualized factors. Salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, retirement plans, vacation/PTO, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave.
