About the Role:

The Technical Sales position at Bosch Rexroth is responsible for developing and growing strategic customer relationships. As a sales professional, you will identify, plan, and develop new customer opportunities and contacts at key growth accounts within the assigned territory and channel partners.

You will be responsible for sales and support of Bosch Rexroth Automation and Electrification (AE) products, reviewing customer applications, and working with Application Engineers, Product Sales Managers, and Inside Sales to propose the best AE solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, plan, and develop new customer opportunities and contacts at key growth accounts within the assigned territory and channel partnersSales and support of Bosch Rexroth Automation and Electrification (AE) productsReview customer applications, and work with Application Engineers, Product Sales Managers, and Inside Sales to propose the best AE solutionDetermine pricing offered to direct customers, and work with channel partners on pricing, including special pricing agreementsProvide input to Bosch Rexroth sales management, product management, and customer support teams in the areas of sales policies, pricing, market growth and trends, competitive information, and sales initiativesMake technical presentations, and conduct basic product training when needed

Requirements:

  • Must possess a technical or engineering degree (BSME/BSEE preferred)
  • Prefer 5 years of sales experience in either regional OEM sales or in a Key Market Segment
  • Knowledge of the Automation and Electrification products (PLC, motion controls, HMI, I/O, edge, computing, software solutions, etc.), and machine applications encountered within Factory Automation
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Clear understanding of sales processes
  • Fast learner who can understand complex technical issues and effectively communicate relevant specifics to non-technical customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable of conducting technical and sales presentations to key clients
  • Works well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Necessary time management skills to handle a consistently high level of sales activity and calls
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial driven mindset

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $155,000 annually. In addition to the base rate, the position has an annual bonus potential of 0% - 35% of annual salary based upon individual targets and company performance. This position is benefits eligible, which includes medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, and other company-offered benefits, including a retirement plan with a 401(k) company match and a defined contribution.
