Overhead Linesman Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Linesman Instructor to join our team at Job Corps. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to students in the field of electrical line maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective lesson plans to ensure students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry.
- Provide hands-on training and coaching to students, focusing on competency-based and computer-assigned instruction.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, promoting a culture of learning and engagement.
- Collaborate with the academic department to integrate learning opportunities and ensure a seamless transition to the workforce.
- Assist students with job placement, military, college, and post-secondary education, as well as obtaining primary credentials.
- Develop industry partnerships to create work-based learning, internships, and job placement outcomes.
- Associate's degree preferred
- At least two years' related experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
- Must be able to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and practical situations such as probability, statistical inference, and proportions
- Valid State Driver's License recommended
- Certification/experience in vocational trade preferred
