Software Tester Job Description

At D&G Support Services, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Junior Software Developer (Testing) to join our team in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of software testing activities, including writing test plans, executing tests, regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing. You will also write test cases and scripts, identify data for test scenarios, and support the development of test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports software testing activities, including writing test plans, executing tests, and regression testing

Writes test cases and scripts, and identifies data for test scenarios

Supports the development of test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flow

Executes manual and automated test scripts to ensure application software performs as specified

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution

OR Bachelor's degree (any field) + One of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP

5 years of software testing experience with IT or IT-related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies

Eligibility Requirements:

DoD Secret Clearance

This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of Selenium, Junit, Python, Java, jQuery, C# in Visual Studio; Computer aided software engineering tools; Scrum knowledge; Fortify; Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gitlab, Psql; SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB; GIS; Cross-Platform mobile development
