Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vascular Access Services Director to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key leader in our ambulatory surgical center, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our vascular access services department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.

About the Role:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians, facility staff, and other stakeholders to coordinate patient procedures and ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and other stakeholders to coordinate patient procedures and ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures.
  • Manage a team of direct patient care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient treatments from admission to discharge, including lab results, medications, and vital signs.
  • Participate in cost control initiatives, focusing on efficient utilization of medication, laboratory, inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.)
  • Current appropriate state licensure and ACLS certification
  • Minimum of three years' experience preferred in an Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access Lab or a combination of ASC, surgical, Interventional Radiology, and ICU/CCU experience
Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
