The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on fueling systems, and a desire to apply technical design experience while engaging their entrepreneurial spirit. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects at major airports and military bases worldwide, as well as with commercial, military, domestic, and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and construction of fueling systems, including airport fuel receipt, storage, and distribution facilities, jet fuel hydrant distribution systems, and pipeline and transport truck fuel receipt systems.

• Development of plans for major projects, including creation of P&IDs and mechanical system control arrangements, layout of equipment pad and valve manifolds, piping system hydraulic modeling, and piping system stress analysis.

• Leadership and guidance of less experienced staff members, as well as regular communication with clients and outside personnel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.

• Minimum 4 years of related experience, with a preference for Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification and experience working for consulting firms and/or construction contractors.

• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of relevant industry standards, such as ATA 103, API 610, API 650, API 653, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, NFPA 30, and NFPA 11.
