Senior Cloud Security Architect for Construction Industry

​Main Responsibilities



As a key member of the CyberSecurity Platform Security Engineering Department at Procore, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing the construction industry by developing secure products that impact the way communities' hospitals, homes, sports stadiums, and schools are built. With a strong background in security as it relates to platform infrastructure, application security, and network/cloud infrastructure security, you will be responsible for managing the privacy and security of customer data within our production environment.



You will also contribute to the security and general architectural vision of Procore 2.0, serving as a technical security mentor for the Security Engineering team and an influencer for the Cloud Runtime Engineering team. Close collaboration with Security Architecture, Product, Cloud Runtime Engineering, and Legal will be essential in this role.



The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting threat assessments and building threat models, as well as a thorough understanding of vulnerability classes (OWASP), cryptography, and differential privacy techniques. Knowledge of AWS services, orchestration tools, and container management is also highly desirable.



In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for creating engineering as-built diagrams and data flow diagrams to describe engineered products, as well as training other team members. Basic project management skills and experience creating application documentation are also essential.

​Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years of experience building security products and internal security tools
  • Experience with conducting threat assessments and building threat models
  • Thorough understanding of vulnerability classes (OWASP), cryptography, and differential privacy techniques
  • Knowledge of AWS services, orchestration tools, and container management
  • Basic project management skills and experience creating application documentation
