About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of home health professionals. As a CNA with Interim HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to seniors and individuals with chronic illnesses or injuries in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, and document any changes
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Provide companionship and engage patients in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with grocery shopping and transportation as needed
  • Observe patient conditions and notify supervisors of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Valid CNA license in the State of Maryland
  • Covid-19 vaccination card
  • Physician's clearance to start work
  • TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Valid State driver's license
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
