As a key member of our tax team, you will provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities with a focus on companies operating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, and financial institutions industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to clients
  • Assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
  • Help develop and manage client relationships
  • Provide timely and unmatched client service and exceed client expectations
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the marketplace at networking events
  • Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients
  • Participate in campus recruiting initiatives and programs
  • Contribute to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions
Requirements
  • Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting
  • A keen sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements
  • Excellent supervisory, team building, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and against target dates
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field
