Acute Care Physical Therapist

Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of body part.
Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Supervise and orient Physical Therapy Assistants and assume responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
Perform administrative duties and participate in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of the American Physical Therapy Association training program
- Foreign trained applicants must complete successful entry level educational equivalency review
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility, outpatient, or sub-acute care settings

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
