Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Leader to join our team at Georgia-Pacific in Toledo, OR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for improving facility manufacturing performance by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance through improved equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to the Reliability Engineering Team to execute cost-effective preventive and predictive Asset strategies to achieve best-in-class availability and reliability of the plant process equipment.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders to drive improved asset availability and support fit-for-purpose training on reliability work processes and practices.
  • Support equipment-related data capture for analysis and trending to establish equipment health, evaluate risk, identify bad actors, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and publish Reliability Key Performance Indicators to measure and improve Reliability performance of the equipment assets and reliability-related work processes.
  • Assess equipment criticalities and develop Asset Strategies to achieve cost-effective reliability, availability, and performance of the plant equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and ability to facilitate investigations and develop mitigation plans to address findings.
  • Experience with maintenance best practices such as shutdown planning and execution, preventive maintenance, and precision maintenance techniques.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (i.e., vibration & oil analysis, thermography, ultrasound).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Process Control
  • Experience with proactive reliability tools and Root-Cause-Analysis methodology
  • Experience developing and implementing improvement processes and projects
