Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Kinston. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, ensuring the safe and effective medication management for residents in long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medication order reviews, identifying potential drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic concerns.
• Provide expert clinical guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals within long-term care facilities.
• Perform comprehensive drug utilization reviews, recommending cost-effective and clinically appropriate medication therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care provided in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
