Job Title: Platform Engineer

About the Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in the implementation and maintenance of the configuration management operating platform, including the Microsoft SCCM system, Mobile Device Management, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Microsoft InTune, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the configuration management operating platform
  • Resolve routine and complex issues associated with the configuration management operating platforms
  • Ensure the platform is available to the UPHS user community
  • Develop automation solutions to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Perform remote analyses and prepare reports on system problems or performance trends and issues
  • Coordinate hardware and software installations and upgrades
  • Document systems events to ensure appropriate administration activities are performed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience
  • 2+ years of experience working as an administrator of highly available computing systems
  • Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve complex technical issues
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work within deadlines and with multiple priorities
