At Trina Solar US Manufacturing Module 1 LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Specialist, Production Planning to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production planning process, from demand confirmation to daily supply management.
Main Responsibilities:- Demand Confirmation: Assess solar cell demand based on production plans and formulate external purchase requirements, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely supply.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate solar cell sources efficiently, considering forecast demand, logistics proximity, and special-order requirements.
- Forecast Collaboration: Work collaboratively to adjust solar cell sources based on forecasts, ensuring smooth order completion.
- Daily Supply Management: Arrange daily supply of solar cell components, monitor inventory and arrival status, and ensure components are ready for production as planned.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory aging, promote first-in-first-out usage, and drive the consumption of special solar cell sources.
- Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly inventory reconciliation.
- System Proficiency: Familiar with ERP systems and proficient in office software.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities and stress resistance.
- Experience: Extensive expertise in production and material planning and control, with over 5 years of production planning experience preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational coordination, resilience, data management, and analysis capabilities. A strong sense of responsibility and stress tolerance.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred.
