Overview:
LEAD Staffing is seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this position, you will interpret customer specifications to fabricate and weld components for various products. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity available for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify part numbers prior to product assembly to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Utilize MIG welding techniques to join components as per blueprints and technical drawings.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to meet finish quality standards.
- Familiarize yourself with multiple jigs and fixtures within the work area, rotating tasks as necessary to adhere to production schedules.
- Operate tools such as grinders, drills, band saws, torches, and cranes as required.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
- Alert supervisors of any part shortages before they impact production.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Proficient in using measuring tools and power equipment, including saws, drill presses, and grinders.
- Fabrication experience is essential.
