Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Textron Aviation. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems.
  • Conduct engine and airframe maintenance, including troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, and airframe system and component changes.
  • Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
Requirements:
  • High school education, GED, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification required.
  • A&P License.
  • Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
