Position OverviewAs a bilingual therapist at Adolescent Wellness Academy, you will play a crucial role in the treatment team, providing individual and group therapy to clients in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities- Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload of clients.
- Conduct group therapy, biopsychosocial assessments, screenings, and assist in the admissions process.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Participate in daily clinical meetings.
- Document all patient-related care in the patient electronic record in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
- Ensure treatment documentation meets agency and professional standards per DCF and Joint Commission.
- Maintain professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
- Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) or Registered Intern in the state of Florida.
- +2 years of experience working with adolescent individuals with a mental health diagnosis.
- Experience in group facilitation and working with multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Well-versed in a variety of evidence-based modalities (e.g. DBT, CBT, MI).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with EMRs, LOCUS, ASAM, DCF, and Joint Commission.
- Level 2 Background Check and Drug Test required.

Families are a core part of our program. You will have the opportunity to not only work with kids but also with their families.
You will be exposed to a wide range of clinical pathologies (e.g. learning disorder, ADHD, bipolar, different dysregulation disorders, mood and anxiety, trauma), as well as crisis intervention.
You will have ample opportunities for development, growth and supervision.
