We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Internal Float Pool team at Baptist Health Floyd. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks under the direction of the nurse. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, days (7am-7pm), with benefits.
About the Role:
The Internal Float Pool consists of experienced nurses and nursing assistants who can work on any inpatient unit that requires additional staffing. As a member of this team, you will report to your specific supervisor and receive guidance when needed. The House Managers will allocate staff to the greatest need in the hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care under the direction of the nurse
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
