We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our banquets and events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation and presentation for banquets and events
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation and storage environment
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to determine menu offerings and create decorative food displays
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for guests and functions
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet customer needs and expectations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent/Culinary certification, degree or related training
  • Minimum of 1 year banquet cook experience in the hotel/hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written and oral
