Job Summary

Generis Tek Inc is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography techniques and examinations, conducting a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures, and producing computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams, including exam records, images, and patient demographics.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
  • Resolve and escalate complex issues.
  • Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
  • Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
  • Subject to on-call status, including weekends and holidays.
  • Other shifts as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging.
  • Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  • Basic knowledge of radiology information systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Education
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within 12 months of the start date.
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program.
  • Pediatric experience highly preferred.
