Key Responsibilities of the Cashier:

  • Greet patrons warmly, ensuring outstanding customer service while processing payments at the conclusion of their visit.
  • Accurately take and input food and beverage orders into the POS system.
  • Handle payments, ensuring adherence to established protocols; provide correct change, balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Maintain effective communication with guests throughout their experience.
  • Promptly report any issues to management.
  • Assist with table bussing as needed to facilitate efficient guest seating.
  • Address guest inquiries and special requests when necessary.
Qualifications for the Cashier Role:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service and cash handling.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Proficient in handling cash, credit cards, and other transactions.
  • Capability to operate a credit card processing machine.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
  • Willingness to remain stationed at designated areas for extended periods while effectively navigating the venue.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests, colleagues, and third parties, reflecting positively on the venue and brand.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting guest checks and POS reports.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions.
  • Ability to maintain an accurate cash bank.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
