At CompSpec Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Navigator to join our team.
We offer an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work with uninsured populations in a hospital setting.
You will be responsible for interviewing patients to determine their eligibility for Medicaid, as well as managing multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines.
In addition, you will need to effectively communicate with internal staff and the uninsured population, both verbally and in writing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be computer literate, and possess knowledge of Medicaid application processes and DPSS procedures.
Responsibilities- Interview patients to determine linkage to Medicaid at hospital bedside
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines
- Effectively communicate with internal staff and the uninsured population
- Secure third party applications for all potential linked patients
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years experience in the healthcare/hospital setting
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner with the uninsured, internal staff
- Knowledge of Medicaid application process and DPSS procedure
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Epic)
