Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Pedi Transport to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
