Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to plan, develop, and execute independent information technology audits. This role involves conducting regulatory controls testing, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and managing the technology systems utilized in the audit process. The successful candidate will analyze data to uncover patterns and identify system issues while providing guidance and expertise to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute comprehensive information technology audits.
  • Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing and other regulatory assessments.
  • Ensure that documentation supports conclusions and adheres to established standards.
  • Gather relevant data, organize materials, and apply sampling techniques and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with clients to enhance internal control frameworks, information security, and process efficiencies.
  • Stay informed about technology trends to implement appropriate controls.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on audit findings at various organizational levels.
  • Oversee the administration of information technology systems during audits.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams throughout the audit process.
Qualifications:
This position requires a dual-track educational background, with one of the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering, or a related field, along with 3 years of relevant experience in IT audit or compliance.
- An Associate's degree in a similar discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.

Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred, or candidates should complete these certifications within two years of hire.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with information technology processes and methodologies.
  • General understanding of IT standards and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.

  • Experience managing small projects and participating in effective meetings.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in business operations systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Formal training in continuous improvement methodologies.
