Azusa Pacific University is a Christ-centered community seeking a dedicated Custodial Professional to maintain the cleanliness of our campus.

We offer a competitive salary of $19.23 per hour, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation and internal equity.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional custodial services, including sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors, dusting furniture, replenishing restroom supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of our facilities.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • a high school diploma or equivalent experience and education
  • six months of janitorial or building maintenance work
  • a valid California Driver's License

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
  • the necessary skills to train student workers
  • proficiency in using equipment such as vacuum cleaners, wet/dry vacuums, carpet extractors, and floor machines

Additionally, we expect you to be able to:

  • follow oral and written instructions
  • establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and students
  • communicate effectively in English
  • complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames
  • learn procedures and retain information
