Role Summary:

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology team, working weekends in an inpatient setting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the care of patients with cancer, working under the direction of a physician to provide comprehensive, high-quality care.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you will have the ability to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. As an NP/PA on our Medical Oncology team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Assesses patient needs and develops care plans under the direction of a physician. Conducts patient interviews, documents patient histories, and orders laboratory tests as needed. Provides education and support to patients and their families, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Must be a licensed NP/PA in the state of Georgia and certified in an applicable specialty. May require at least one year of direct experience in oncology or a related field. BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
