Position: Family Housing Support Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Family Housing Support Specialist to join our team. This position involves collaborating with families facing homelessness to assist them in achieving their housing goals and securing stable living conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to positively impacting the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the mission and values of City Care OKC.
  • Build and maintain a network of community resources.
  • Support families with school enrollment processes for their children.
  • Develop personalized plans in collaboration with families.
  • Provide case management and crisis intervention services.
  • Document progress and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful living environment for families.
  • Organize and facilitate group activities and meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in case management or a related field is preferred.
  • Skilled in data entry and database management.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in mental health and recovery systems is a plus.

Prior experience in shelter or behavioral health case management is advantageous.

Excellent communication and motivational skills are essential.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, with working hours from Monday to Friday, offering flexibility in scheduling.

Compensation starts at $20.50 per hour.
