Chief of Police

Cass Township, Schuylkill County, PA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Police to lead its law enforcement services. This management position is supervised by three members of the Board of Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement modern police administrative and operational practices, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and labor relations.
- Advance the perception of the department through progressive policing methods supported by the community.
- Maintain a visible presence in the Township's residential areas and business district.
- Collaborate with Municipal Administration, citizens, and Local, County, State, and Federal officials.
- Ensure the department's compliance with Pennsylvania Act 120 and maintain certification.
- At least ten years of experience as a certified police officer.
- Minimum of two years of recent police-related administrative and supervisory experience.
- Ability to work cooperatively and lead the department effectively.
The successful candidate will undergo a physical and psychological exam, drug screening, and thorough background check. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
