About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counselor to join our team at Groups: Recover Together. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the treatment team and become an expert on addiction and recovery, coordinating decisions about the member's treatment.
  • Manage a schedule and caseload that supports the needs of the office and region, further developing your clinical skill set.
  • Lead 10-12 1-hour group therapy sessions per week, building recovery skills and fostering community using our outlined curriculum.
  • Document members' progress, using outcome measures and client feedback.
  • Engage in community relations activities, promoting Groups and its mission.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in the mental/behavioral health discipline or students enrolled in Masters' programs pursuing the necessary credentials.
  • Active or currently under supervision to obtain the necessary credentials, including MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D., RN & LPN with experience leading therapeutic groups and supporting documentation.
  • Experience leading group therapy and a high comfort level with technology, including EMR, Telehealth software, Google products, and mobile apps.
