About the Job

We are seeking a Lead Geotechnical Professional to join our team at GeoEngineers, Inc. As a seasoned expert in geotechnical engineering, you will lead high-profile projects, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and implement geotechnical field investigations, conduct construction monitoring, and analyze data to inform project decisions. Additionally, this position may involve mentoring junior team members and providing support to geotechnical teams in other locations as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead high-profile projects and develop comprehensive project plans.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geotechnical field investigations.
  3. Analyze data and results to inform project decisions and optimize solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with remote team members to support nationwide projects.
  • Provide in-person support to geotechnical teams at other locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following is preferred:
  1. Conventional geotechnical analysis and relevant software.
  2. Ground improvement techniques.
  3. Numerical modeling software and advanced constitutive models.
  4. Probabilistic and deterministic seismic hazard analysis.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license required; one year of driving experience in the United States considered.

Salary Range: $65,800 - $83,800 annually, based on education and experience, with opportunities for pay increases and bonuses.
