About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Urology Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized urological care at our facilities in Clark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in urology and be proficient in handling tasks such as changing and inserting catheters and interpreting ultrasound/Doppler test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care to patients, including catheter changes and insertions.
- Interpret ultrasound and Doppler tests to aid in patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Manage patient care with professionalism and in accordance with current medical practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Urology Nurse Practitioner, excluding RN experience.
- Valid NP license in the state of New Jersey.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical procedures related to urological care.
- Strong diagnostic skills, including proficiency in interpreting medical imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
