Job Title: HEDIS Healthcare Scheduler

Arkos Health is seeking a skilled HEDIS Healthcare Scheduler to join our team. As a HEDIS Healthcare Scheduler, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the scheduling needs of our STARS/HEDIS Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct telephone calls to members, providers, and other healthcare professionals to support care initiatives
  • Verify reporting from the health plan against internal systems for accuracy and completeness to schedule appointments
  • Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to schedule member visits, meeting expected appointment numbers
  • Communicate effectively with the Quality team to ensure accurate scheduling procedures are implemented
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certification and/or Certified Nurse Assistant
  • 2+ years' experience in a healthcare environment
  • Basic knowledge of HCCs and Medical Diagnosis
  • Experience with verifying Eligibility and navigating through Insurance Portals
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
