Job Title: Member Care Coordinator

At NxT Level, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Member Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' Medicare members receive exceptional care and support.

Job Summary:

The Member Care Coordinator will provide outreach and support to our clients' Medicare members, navigating them through their healthcare journey and connecting the dots between their provider network, health plan operations, and supplemental vendors. This is a role for a passionate and experienced customer service representative who understands the meaningful contribution they make to our members' healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare, providing guidance and support to members on procedures, protocols, benefits, and services.
  • Provide outbound and inbound support via phone, maintaining case ownership of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 matters to ensure resolution.
  • Manage member communication preferences, utilizing interpreter services as needed, and collaborating with partners to facilitate the member experience.
  • Excel in customer service, contributing to a culture of going above and beyond to ensure the highest level of member satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and understand units of American money and weight measurement.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving concrete variables.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Products and computer literacy, with typing skills of 40+ words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience helping members navigate access to care through Medicare Advantage or HMO, including referrals and authorizations.
  • Experience helping members navigate their Medicare Advantage benefits, including medical, prescription drug, and supplemental benefits.
  • Outbound call center experience, including welcome/onboarding, appointment scheduling, retention, sales, or other health care/health plan related programs.
  • Availability to work full-time and overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct-Dec) and Open Enrollment Period (Jan-Mar).

Salary: $17 - $22/hour based on experience.
