POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care to residents in long-term and post-acute settings.
Your role includes supervising and guiding the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) while ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Your leadership skills are vital for the success of both the CNAs and the well-being of the patients.DeMay Living Center, affiliated with Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility offering 24-hour care for individuals and their families requiring rehabilitative, complex post-acute, transitional, neurobehavioral, and long-term care.
We also create a secure and comforting environment for individuals experiencing dementia-related symptoms.EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant.
