The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant - Certified to join our team. As a member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance and nursing support
- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other personal care needs
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary needs
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains continuing education credits
