This role involves implementing our curriculum and educational goals while ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children. Educators will be responsible for planning daily activities, assessing their effectiveness, and maintaining open communication with families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer child care routines in a timely and hygienic manner, adhering to established child development principles.
- Design and execute a comprehensive child development program tailored to the individual needs of each child, aligned with our educational framework.
- Guarantee the safety of children through vigilant supervision, organized classroom space, and regular emergency preparedness drills.
- Operate within the guidelines of all relevant child care licensing standards and internal policies.
- Foster a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere for children and their families.
- Encourage individual expression through various activities including conversation, play, and creative projects.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding staff, children, and families.
- Assist in onboarding and training new staff and volunteers.
- Facilitate language development through diverse activities.
- Ensure parents are informed about their child's experiences through daily interactions and scheduled conferences.
- Keep detailed records of each child's progress using our management system.
- Support parent-child bonding and relationships.
- Warmly greet children and their families each day.
- Initiate daily classroom activities such as music, art, and outdoor exploration.
- Showcase children's artwork in the classroom, updating displays regularly.
- Monitor children for signs of health issues or emotional distress and report concerns promptly.
- Utilize classroom materials safely and maintain a clean environment.
- Regularly inspect the classroom for safety hazards and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to team meetings and share insights from professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across all classrooms.
- Implement curriculum in line with our educational practices.
Qualifications:
Fully Qualified Teacher:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High School Diploma or GED
- 12 core semester units in early childhood education or related curriculum
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care setting
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Completed background check
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training
Partially Qualified Teacher:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 completed semester units in early childhood education
- 3 semester units in infant care
- Enrolled in additional coursework towards full qualification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Completed background check
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training
Teacher's Aid:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Completed background check

- Must work under the supervision of a qualified teacher
