Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute inspection, testing, and evaluation strategies for quality compliance
  • Compile comprehensive reports based on inspection data analysis
  • Work closely with the estimating team to address project quality requirements
  • Engage in project discussions and bid evaluations
  • Recruit and manage Project QC personnel
  • Maintain welder continuity logs and testing documentation
  • Administer Code Stamps and Certificates of Authorization
  • Guide staff in quality control methodologies and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and industry best practices
  • Investigate and resolve client complaints related to quality concerns
  • Develop procedures for Statistical Process Control
  • Support project teams with documentation for final turnover
  • Train staff in quality control practices

Qualifications:

  • Document Control Manager Certification
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification
  • At least 15 years of experience in quality control, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Exceptional leadership and client relationship management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with AS 9100 and ASME Code standards
  • Capability to manage and audit site QC departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
