About This Role

As a Store Manager at UScellular, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales and financial goals, and leading a team of retail professionals to execute the company's vision and strategy. You will manage, develop, and lead a team with direct report responsibility, including Retail Wireless Consultants and Assistant Managers.

  • Lead associates to achieve superior results, customer advocacy, and a high-performance culture.
  • Provide clear expectations, timely feedback, and continuous improvement opportunities to team members.
  • Achieve sales goals by planning, teaching, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to associates.
  • Meet sales targets by promoting UScellular products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain store performance through coaching and accountability by planning, monitoring, and observing individual and team performance.
  • Teach sales team in selling tools and techniques, including prospecting customers, qualifying needs, problem-solving, and sales process practices.
  • Oversee daily operational processes within the retail store according to company guidelines.
  • Select, train, and develop team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools, information, knowledge, skills, and business acumen.
  • Promote customer advocacy through meeting the needs of new and existing customers, creating positive customer engagement.
  • Identify associates with advancement potential and provide ongoing development to build skills and capabilities, supporting UScellular's leadership pipeline.
  • Oversee and ensure successful onboarding for newly hired associates.
  • Ensure store scheduling and allocation of store resources to optimize customer service.
  • Safeguard and monitor loss prevention procedures to minimize shrinkage.
  • Lead marketing efforts in representing UScellular through community involvement and promoting the brand.
  • Ensure all associates' compliance with company policies, procedures, and required trainings.
  • Attend all required UScellular training programs and assist with training as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or state equivalency certification (GED).
  • At least two years' sales management experience.
  • One or more years of leadership or management experience.
  • Prior experience in building, motivating, and leading teams.
  • Experience in coaching, organizing, planning work assignments, and delegating duties.
  • Flexible in working a schedule including regular nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience leading in a fast-paced retail sales environment.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Wireless and/or retail sales management experience.
  • Familiar with various mobile software applications and operating systems (Android, Apple).
  • Prior experience networking with the local community and supporting small business customers.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Experience with computerized pricing and inventory control systems.

Salary Range target is $41,000 to $66,834
