Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our graduate nursing programs. The successful candidate will provide expert teaching and professional role modeling, leading to the development of skilled nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in graduate nursing programs, including curriculum development and implementation
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
  • Conduct clinical evaluations and problem-solving with students and preceptors
  • Assess instructional needs and develop plans to address them
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in program evaluations and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing with three years of relevant, recent clinical experience
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice nursing in the state
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Licensing and Certifications
  • Current APRN license in the state and affiliate states
  • National Certification in area of advanced specialization
