Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Acomb Ostendorf and Associates LLC. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial support to our Executive and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial analysis to monitor financial performance, support business decisions, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Report weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Maintain and improve financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, including the monthly financial package and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and support.
  • Identify and analyze business trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support ad hoc and recurring strategic projects and initiatives of the business.
  • Create and continuously improve company-wide financial processes, such as forecasting and budgeting.
  • Work with management to develop processes and procedures for ERP use and optimization.
  • Support project health and profitability analysis, including communication to operations.
Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Foundation of curiosity in approaching the business, assigned projects, and process development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience managing budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prior experience developing financial models and analyzing large data sets.
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software tools, such as B.I. platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage multiple projects.
