Senior Electrical Engineer Power Electronics Specialist

At Second Order Effects, Inc, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in Power Electronics to join our team. As a key member of our Special Projects team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex power electronics systems for various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop power electronics systems for complex applications
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions
- Work with organizational leadership to grow our competency in power electronics
- Augment the team's knowledge and passion for learning
- Support Business Development by participating in early-stage calls with new customers
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience designing power electronics
- 2+ years of experience leading teams through power electronics projects
- Experience in high voltage power conversion, digital control for power systems, and inverter systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills
