Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the PACE Marketing Supervisor, the PACE Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing and outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility of the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program within the community and among potential enrollees.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of the PACE Marketing Strategy.
  • Contribute to the creation and enhancement of promotional materials, ensuring they are current and adequately supplied.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, geriatric social workers, and related organizations.
  • Collaborate with PACE staff and various departments to ensure a positive experience for prospective enrollees and their families.
  • Support the production, proofreading, and inventory management of marketing materials.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) regulations regarding marketing practices.
  • Participate in recruitment activities and assist with member processes.
  • Organize and plan both internal and external marketing events, and represent the organization at community networking functions as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in strategic planning and development initiatives for the PACE program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with PACE Marketing regulations and organizational policies regarding attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:
Education:

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.


Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience in outreach and marketing, preferably within the healthcare sector. At least one year of experience working with seniors is also required, with both professional and personal experiences considered.

Familiarity with HMO, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare, and sales and marketing strategies related to senior care is essential.


Certifications:

A valid California driver's license and reliable transportation are required, along with proof of current vehicle insurance if applicable. Candidates must successfully complete the State of California DHCS PACE and Medi-Cal Marketing Certification exam within 60 days of hire.


Skills:

Strong organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in managing challenging interpersonal situations are necessary. Candidates must meet the standardized competencies established by SYHC PACE and approved by CMS.


Work Environment:

This position requires mobility but also involves work in an office setting.
