Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification, with CT certification preferred.
  • Vocational school graduate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
