POSITION SUMMARY

Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (CCI) is a prominent engineering and consulting firm recognized across the Southeast for its integrity and expertise. We are currently in search of a qualified Project Engineer/Project Manager to oversee and guide our project teams in the development of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Leading project management efforts from conceptualization through to project completion.
  • Facilitating client communication and coordination.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing project budgets effectively.
  • Providing mentorship to a team of engineers and designers.

With over 27 years of experience, CCI has successfully delivered engineering and field surveying solutions to a diverse range of municipal, commercial, and public sector clients. Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET Accredited institution.
  • A decade of experience in electric utility projects.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
  • Experience in transmission and distribution line design.
  • Familiarity with Electric System Modeling and Master Planning.
  • Substation design experience is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible environment, including remote work options.
